Default WORK LIGHT PICS

Thanks for the pics and description. That is one of the projects I'll be doing. One thing at a time I guess........just installed a winch on Saturday.

Hellhound,

How do you have it wired. Is it on a switch or directly to the trans? I have mine hooked up to the trans so when you go in reverse the light comes on and forward it goes off. If i need it as a work light I just keep it in reverse. It works really good. You dont have to worry about ever leaving it on by mistake and killing the battery. If you want to know the wiring let me know.

I have it wired to a toggle switch. I took power from the accessory positive wire in the pod it is only powered when the key is on so it won't be left on by mistake(which i would most likley do). i also ran a fuse just in case. I wired it to a switch so i did'nt have to leave in rev if i wanted on as a work light.
I was going to take pics of it in the dark tonite but it's hailing and sleeting so ill do it this week end

Silverbullet,

Where the shifter goes into the tranny there is a 4 wire connector below it. This is your indicator switch. The dark purple (almost looks brown) wire is the positive wire for the reverse indicator on your pod. You want to tap into this wire. Then take your other wire and go to ground. Thats it!

You can follow the purple wire up the harness and tap into it under the seat.
