Default Snorkel (carb air) for Polaris 90cc

Hi all,
I bought my kid a Polaris Predator 90cc '05. He has immediately taken to mud and water in a big way!!!!!!. I am getting alot of water ingestion into the air filter/box. Also, I have to change oil after every ride as he is pulling water so I need to fix that also. On these smaller bikes does anybody have a mod or has anybody made one? If you did did you have to re-jet carb?

BTW, if anybody is looking for a good kids bike I cant recommend this one enough. It'll last him a long time and seems durable as all get out. Thanks and I appreciate the help.

just got off the horn with the dealer, found out the snorkel was about 6 inches to short and the breather was about 4 inches to short, going to shop tomorrow and they are fixing for no charge. If any of you have these check the lengths as this can cause BIG problems.

not sure if its an update but it appears that the snorkel and breather that was on mine actually belongs on the 50cc model. The snorkel should run up to just under the handle bars and mine runs to just past the fuel petcock, WAY short so even if he went thru a puddle the tire was throwing water etc straight down the ole pipe!!!!! Same on the other side with the breather. Kinda weird!!!!!!

Hey notagain, I cut the top bend off of my son's sportsman 90 and shoved a thick but flexable radiator hose and fed it up to the top of the handlebars. Sorry I dont know what size the hose id is to fit but my wrench guru drttrack97 gave me the hose to fix the problem maybe he knows ! He's a great friend because he knows how to tear these things apart and put them back together and he shows me what I need to know to work on my machines!! Sometimes you do get lucky and step in it!! If your not happy with the performance of the "new" dealer fix, try this.. Good luck
