Well here is the best set up Ive came up with so far for an 800. Bit involved but works awesome.
To start with, I took the stock airbox snorkel and heated it and expanded it to a 2inch round, instead of the 1 .5 necked up to a 2 inch. Installed the K@N filter and stayed light on the oil. I installed a limmeted availabilty set of 20/62 weights, a brown polaris primary spring, I used a white/yellow secondary spring(from 700). I shimmed the primary .004 thou tighter, shaved 1/4 inch from the nylon stopper nut in the primary. Installed a hand made titanium head pipe and a Polaris aluminum can with all baffles and plates removed.
This sucker now runs about 76 mph and bang on the rev limiter after about 400 feet. This unit will keep the same ronchy pull from 10 to 68 mph and levels off nicely. It is not too jerky for slow riding either.
This works great.
Good luck.
I got the 700 set up well, but still waiting for the power commander to arrive to get the full set up proper.
Looking for a Nitrous kit for the EFI, anyone used, Iv had 4 boondocker kits on sleds, but never managed one of the efi quad YET. YET YET YET>>>>>>

mkcac700 has helped me with my set up on my 05 700efi, I have had the dealer dyno tested, and they put 50.3 weights in and put the stock blue spring in the primary clutch, but i changed back to the white spring (it hits harder). at 8,000 feet I still dont hit the revlimiter.By shaving the bushing will it set the belt alittle higher in the clutch. is there any way to get more top speed from the secondary clutch?
thanks for your help
