Default Fan Problems

The fan on my 97 Polaris Sportsman 400l (2-stroke) stopped working this week. I don't know too much about electrical systems, I was hoping that there was a fuse somewhere I might have blown or something else that would cost less to fix than a new fan motor. Any help is appreciated.

not too comonly it is the fan, usually a sender, or broken wire. if y pill the wires from the sender and touch them together, or if ony one wire touch it to the head of the engine, th fan should come on, iif not, u got a motor prblem or a wire broken, u cam pwer up the fan directly at the plug with a couple jumper wires to test it also.

good luck
