pulling primary

Default pulling primary

im gonna pull the primary clutch off and i need to know how to get it back on. from what ive been told to remove it u jsut need to thread the pulled in and tighten it up and tap it with a hammer. and it should pop off. how does it go back on? thanks,

Just tighten it to the specs the shop manual call for. It's a tapered fit.

Don't tap it with a hammer unless needed you can do alot of damage.

Scott,

Why do you need to pull the primary?
Did you get the blockoff put on? How did it run at the Badlands?

well i decided to pull the tranny to make the oil block off easier. i can get my angle head screw driver on it no problem but they are so tight its startin to strip. the trannys already all un hooked and the secondarys off so all i gotta do now is pop the primary off and pull the inner clutch cover and take it out. we never got to go to the badlands, my friend who was drivin had to work and so did it. so maybe next month. ttyl
