I lucked out. I checked my '05 SP400 last night and my numbers preceed the VIN numbers in the recall, even though I picked up my wheeler in January.

FYI - Just so the folks who like to bash Polaris don't get over excited about this recall, here is a link of several ATV recalls by most all ATV manufacturers. ATV recalls
All ATV's are machines and these things happen regardless of the manufacturer.
