epi clutch kit??
#1
i have a 99 sp 500 with ebs that is all stock and my buddy has a 97 sp 500 and when i first got mine he said that his was faster than mine because mine has ebs.so we raced a couple of times and to his suprise we stayed side by side up to 60 mph.so he bought a epi performance clutch kit and had it installed.i got to ride his before we raced again and it felt alot stronger than mine out off the hole so i just knew i was beat.the first race we both left off idle and took off and we stayed the same as before.second race i held the brake tight and revved it up pretty hard and i jumped him 3 atv lengths out of the hole and stayed ahead the whole time.he felt like puking after that.his clutch kit is set on the last notch for more performance.i might put the green primary spring on mine to see if i blast him even more.

I had the EPI sport/utility clutch kit on my 99 500cc Sportsman to.It cost around 230 installed.I was extremly disappointed in the little gain in performance I acheived for 230 dollars.
I now own a 00 Xplorer 400cc 4x4.I got ahold of Rick Ritter [1618-644-3211] and talked about a kit.He did'nt want to sell me an entire kit.Instead,he sold me what I needed.I changed the primary spring to green, and ''WOW''what a differance. The spring made more of a differance than the ENTIRE EPI kit on my Sportsman,
