How might one get rid of the engine braking system on a 700 sportsman...just swap out the secondary clutch to a non ebs clutch???

I am curious too. I just got my first 4 stroke in over 30 years and I love engine braking. Especially on down hills.

I would be willing to trade you my non ebs secondary for your ebs secondary. Assuming the parts are compatable. we each cover our own shipping?

I don't need the braking. I love that freewheeling feel of my other atv's...plus maybe I could tighten up the belt a little then.

So can anyone answer my question...Is the only thing I need to swap out is the secondary clutch? Or will I need to change out the primary too?

Uve got to change the primary and secondary. the primary has a one way clutch in it and the secondary has different helix and spring design and with the two combined u get ur engine braking system, soooo like I said to get rid of it, have to change them both...
