Anyone have problems with SP800 tires coming off?
3 of my friends have recently purchased the SP800. We all went riding yesterday together, my one friend's front left tire came right off the rim while riding. Luckily, one of the other riders carries a portable air compressor so we were able to get the tire back on, get it to bead and inflate it. He was fine to ride. About an hour later, another one of my friends with a SP800 had his tire come off the rim. His was the right rear tire (now this is the second time in 3 weeks this guys tire has come off, before it was one of his front tires that came off the rim). We were able to get his tire back on the rim, bead it and get it inflated. There was about 11 of us out together yesterday, and we had 3 SP800's, 4 SP700's, 3 Predators & 1 Trailblazer. None of the 700's had a single problem with their tires coming off the rims (and they never had) Plus one of the SP800's headlight bulbs exploded from going over a bump in the trail (we all went over the same bump just as fast or faster). In my opinion, seeing the problems my friends are having, I would be calling Polaris flipping out as to why this is going on. I think it is the aluminum rims that are causing this. Any of you guys or gals have any suggestions? Should they inflate their tires over the Polaris recommendations? I just feel bad for them because these are supposed to be the best 4x4 Polaris has and they have had nothing but problems.

Hey johnnyz71. What pressure were they running? I have had a front tire on my jeep unseat due to low pressure while wheeling in deep mud ruts with a heavy side load. I saw it happen again twice this last weekend to big 4x4s in the mud at a local place called the Mounds. Maybe a similar thing happend with your friends. BTW, what happened with Frizzle's battery?

Bryce,
I called the dealer we bought it from and he said to bring it down and he will take care of it. I have just been so darn busy with work and the house, I haven't had a chance. She can start it with recoil and it will fire up the rest of the day, but let it sit overnight and you have to recoil start again. I told the dealer though I wasn't paying a dime for anything and he said not to worry, he will not charge me anything.

I run about 5 psi in my tires and have had a tire come off the rim a couple times. One time I hit a stump at about 15 miles an hour and it just ripped right off. My buddy I ride with has a 600 and 700 SP and has C-Series rims on one and stock on the other and has never had a problem. I think the new polaris tires are a little soft which make for a nice ride, but I think I am going to get the ITP 589s or deep lug mudlites. My buddies 04 600 has a 2" lift with 26" 589s on C-Series rims and he never gets stuck. He also took off the racks and it looks GOOOOD!
