hello,

After a long weekend of muddin and trail riding, I have blew out my rear cv joint. I was wondering if I had to buy the whole shaft, which is like $200, or if I could buy a rebuild kit???? Any suggestions or places where I could locate this?????

hey check out j r grahams they are cheap and good i have theyr cv joints all they way around haven't had a problem before that i took out 3 stock joints

 

The joints come off of the shaft if thats what you are asking. By blown out, you do mean the joint is shot, right?

 

is your shaft still in one piece?

if it is the piece that holds the bearings in place will slide off the shaft after removing a key

 

Yea, the joint is shot...... it makes the unpleasant popping sound........
and thanks for the advice as to where to locate one. I'll check them out....
any other suggestions????
