Default 2005 Polaris 500 HO "LE"

Hey gang !! ....... I've been following this forum for quite some time now so I decided to join. I live in Northern Ontario Canada and like many of you, I'm also one of those guys who buys a new quad every 2nd year. I've owned the Foreman, the Grizzly, the Rubicon and now this is my 2nd Polaris. Due to the whack of positive changes that Polaris has done to the sportsman line-up, I recently traded in my 2004.5 500 HO for the 2005 SP 500 ho "LE". I'm not sure if you've ever seen one of these black puppies up close, but I assure you that pictures cannot possibly do it justice. In my humble opinion, it's one of the sweetest looking ATV's on the market today !!

I've accessorized it with a lock-and-ride high windshield, fender protectors with pegs, a rear seat with gas can compartment, 2500 warn winch, Garmin GPS, hand guards and a Glacier plow system for winter workouts. Check out the pics !!

Hey 2c3,

The rear seat is called a "Quadra". Aside from the 2 padded side storage, it also has a rear compartment that fits a small jerry can or it also acts as a cooler. It has small holes on the bottom to let the water out as the ice melts. It cost me $230 Canadian. What's that, about 8 bucks U.S ??...lol
