First Ride of the Season - Not a good one
I FINALLY got my sportsman back from the shop today. This is the first ride with the new cam, carb, exhaust, wheels & tires. Me and 2 of my friends went riding, hills/trails/creeks, and the ol' sportsman just aint right. When slowing down, the rear end shakes and vibrates BADLY, its only when Im slowing down from mid to higher speeds(20+). I dont know why its doing this, I have the rear axles timed perfectly according to the polaris dealer. The rear hubs are tight, everything has plenty of grease. The rear brake disc is loose, I have tried tightening it, cant get it, but im sure thats not causing the vibration and shaking, just the annoying clanking sound. Any Ideas on my problem?

First Ride of the Season - Not a good one
I did some more investigating today, I jacked up the rear end, set the brake, and found out that theres a lot of play in the right axle where the 2 halves come together. I'm not sure but I think the only movement that should be in them will be in/out, not forward/back. I think its causing the vibration during deceleration because the inner axle isnt being held tight against the outer. Does this sound right? because I have also noticed that if I keep on the throttle a little while Im slowing down, it doesnt do it. I hope this is it. Would there be any other ideas or possible solutions?
