Scrambler 400 Rear Brakes
I have been wanting to pull the front brakes off my scrambler for a while. I have to consitently adjust the drag I have beeld them , bought new bleeders and a new right caliper there are no holes in the lines and the fronts like to fail sometiimes they lock sometimes they don't.
from what I have been reading the non concentrics (Ced) do well without the front brakes and the concentrics can do well without the rear brake. being concentric this has concerned me some. I see people say removing the front prakes saves 10-12 pounds and removing the rear saves 10 pounds. wouldn;t there be more weight saving pulling the front brakes?
heres one of the posts regarding brake removal. ModQuads coments are all the way at the bottom.

Scrambler 400 Rear Brakes
yea:
I think I got it down now. Thanks guys, I took a good look at the wife machs today. Compared to mine 4 machs (LOL).
The srambler rear pulger is off set. I see why it would get air in the lines now.
I think I'll put a wr250r set-up on it. 2004 set-up rear pulger.
The problem should be solved then.
Of cousre I"ll split the lines also. Before I add this set-up. Thanks all.
