Default 2003 magnum 4x4

I'm currently looking at a 2003 Magnum 4x4. I was going to buy a 2000 Quadmaster (some might remember) but the deal fell through so now my search continues for another ATV. I don't know much about the Magnum and was wondering if anyone could let me know anything and everything they can. How does it compare to my Big Bear with power and speed? If anyone could tell me the top speed of the Magnum it would be great. Thanks.

One more question; what size tires can I put on this thing? I would want to put 26" Mudlites for the bigger lugs.

I Have one actually, an oil tube line came off the front radiator and the engine blew cuz it ran w/o oil, its been sitting in my garage for over a year, its like bran new. Fastest i got it going was 43 down a hilland about 41 on flat ground, the 26 inch mudlites should work fine on it, i dont know how it compairs to a Big Bear tho, it has respectable power for a 325, but not as much as ur 400. It's not a bad buy for a entry level quad, it can still get the chores done as well

I got an 04... As far as speed, mine is about the same 43 - 45 on flat... Can speak for down hill... I will put 25's on mine... Don't see a problem with 26's, should give you more speed but will lose torque.

Put in a EPI pink primary spring and you will easily hit 50+. I have the 330 Trailboss with a K&N, Pink primary and red secondary set at 2-2. It pulls so much better than stock. Top speed is 52mph easily and its not a dog anymore.

Hey 2many... Where did you get your K&N? I went to my local shop and they didn't have the smaller filter that mine needs.... Also where did you get the spring? I think its about time to wake mine up alittle

You can order direct from erlandsonperformance.com and get either the Pink spring p#patv8 or the maroon p#patv10. I think I would stick with the pink. The maroon may have to high of rpm's on top. My brother inlaw put the maroon in his 600 and that thing pulls so hard now. I got my K&N from the dealer. If you have the same airbox as me then I can get you a part number.

Bought the 2003 Magnum 330 4x4 last night for $3100. It has 2500 miles and that cool speedo. So is there anything else people can tell me about this thing? Is this a good price? Blue book is still $3500. Thanks guys.
