reply from my email to Polaris:
Thank you for your e-mail to Polaris Industries Inc.
I would suggest that you contact your dealer to get on their repair list and
when the new oil lines and fittings become available have your machine
updated. The oil lines are supposed to be available next week but the
vendor was having some trouble getting them to us fast enough to put the
kits together. We are definitely taking responsibility for this bulletin so
please have your machine updated as soon as the parts are available.
Thank you.

I called my dealer today and he said he would have to check on it. 10 minutes later he called me back and said he will order the kit for me, when it comes in bring in the boss and he will install it. He needed to know which oil cooler I had so he could order the correct kit. Not bad service except he was supposed to contact me. Never asked me if it was leaking or anything, he will replace it no questions asked.

My dealer didn't pay any attention to the notice until I asked them to check it out. Within 10 minutes he asked me to bring it in so they could take a look at it and order the correct one for my Magnum. Some have an inline H valve, and some have the H valve on top of the oil cooler. Mine was the latter. Had me sign the RO and the warranty paperwork already and said they'd call me when my parts came in.

Contacted my dealer yesterday. Both the service man and owner knew nothing about it. Said they'd check and call me back. If they don't, Polaris will get yet another "nasty gram".

I am hoping to get a T-Boss this week, if all goes well. How can I know that it has the right oil lines on it? Do the new ones look different than the old? Anyone know what to look for or what serial #'s are involved in the 2001's ? It makes me a little nervous to think I might be getting a machine with this problem. I don't want to have to go on just what the dealer tells me either. HELP!!!

Look at the lines where they come off the oil filter area. If they have clamps they are old style. If they have hydraulic fittings they are new style. I would guess if it is a "01" they should have the updated lines, most of the late serial numbers do.

I just learned of this problem last week and told my son we need to check in to getting it fixed. I even tried to tighten the clamps but they were tight. DON'T RIDE YOUR 325 MACHINE UNTIL UPDATED!! My sons just blew the the oil line. Left oil trail about 50 feet long. He said the motor made A knocking sound so he cut it off, then noticed oil everywhere. Where do I stand now. Will they rebuild my motor? How long will that take. Machine has about 50 miles, Three weeks old. The damage is done now. I guess I'm at the mercy of Polaris, They could just put on new oil lines and tell me every thing is ok. Who to say? Only time will tell. DON'T RIDE YOUR 325 UNTIL THE LINES ARE CHANGED--DONT RIDE YOUR 325 UNTIL THE OIL LINES ARE CHANGED. IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
