My 400 will not stay running. I have replaced the speed limiter, but that did not make a difference. If I disconnect the single yellow wire on the speed limitor it will run, but when it's in 4WD it just doesn't have the power. It will not rev up. Even in 2WD it takes a long time to get up to speed. In reverse it works a lot better. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated.

Unplug the black wire on the limiter.

 

I left the yellow disconnected and disconnected the black one as well and it 's seems to be running a lot better.

2WD now seems fine, as well as 4WD in reverse, but in 4WD going forward still does not work.

Does the 4x4 AWD light come on when you put it in gear or push the button?

 

The AWD light does come on when it is enabled.

 

Do you have a manual?If so it shows how to check the switches.You need to check the switch in the shifter.

 

I have the manual. I will check it out tonight.
