White Spring or Green Spring for SP500
#11
Skidkid,
Something is wrong here.I need to contact Rick Ritter and ask him whats going on?He sent me the white spring and the green spring to try. They are BOTH the SAME length. They are also only about 1/4 inch longer than the stock blue spring.I'll let you know what he says,

The Green spring was 1/4 inch longer than the white spring before I put them in. Yet the green spring was the same length as the white spring when I took it out to put the white spring in, yet the difference was immediate. So, don't worry about the relaxed length of these springs.
The rate of these springs is correctly color-coded.
I do think, like most engine modifications,
that the two-strokes benefit more from this spring swap. Maybe a 4-stroke scrambler can benefit from the green spring, but I think it is the white spring for the 4-strokes.
