700 efi battery dead!
#1
Has any one else had there 700 efi die in the middle of no where? So far the starter has stayed on, ruining it before I could disconect the battery and then the quad died, out in BFE. Lucky for me, my other quad had jumper cables. The dealer said that they have had issues with the older 700 batteries, so they put a new one on from the 800. They also told me that you have to have at least 80% charge in the battery to get the EFI to work, or you toast.

my battery took a crap on me but it was in the garage and not in bfe. then i put a dry cell that my dealer gave me and the machine would only run when a charge was hooked up. the under lying problem was wires from under the hood that go into the fuse box (bottom) shorted out. don't know if that helps you at all. but i would recommend taking a better look at your electrical system. just last week my solid state relay shorted out and left me in bfe.
