Default scrambler chain adjustment ( dont reply to other one)

i tried using the instructions in the universal owners manual, but, i looked, and it doesnt look like there is any way the rear end slides back to tighten the chain. does it adjust a lot or should i just buy a new chain or take a link out of the old one for now. any help is appreciated.

loosen the bolts holding the caliper
loosen the 2 bolts clamping the axle

use some channel locks to turn the axle at the large hexagon

it is a cam style adjuster

as you rotate the axle the chain will tighten or loosen

oh,,,then tighten the bolts back up

well, i knew how you loosen the two bolts holding the axel and the two caliper bolts, but i didnt get the part that it tells you to take a punch and put it through the sproket and into the housing and rolling the quad to tighten. you dont need to use a punch do you? is there an easier way? thanks for the fast reply.

I've been real pleased with my DID X ring. I also put just the cheapo EK O ring on my wifes' quad. It looks like hell, but has held up very well.
