so i went to the dealer to ask about the new outlaw got to talking numbers on a new sportsman and ended up buying 2 of them one is a 500 "red" and the other is a 400 "blue" the only proboblem is i traded in my sport 400 man im going to miss the hell out of that thing my little son is upset that his dad lost his vvoooom vvvvooooommm "thats what he called it because hes only 18 monthes old" well while the dealer was looking it over he ask me how long the rear swing arm had been broke and i was like what and ran over sure enough the rear swing arm was about a half inch of steel away from being in 2 peices...me and my son rode every night so it was really a blessing that it dident go while we were riding .....God works in mysterious ways....

for shame! how dare you trade in a sport 400! those are one of a kinds! *slap*
GL with your new quads, the 500 is great, should have hung onto the sport instead of getting the SP400

well every thing was wrong with it the moter needed a rebuild the silent chain was slipping in the tranny and it leaked tranny oil the needle valve was stuck open so it leaked gas and the rear swing arm was almost in half plus there is a long list of things that i had done to it...
but there is an explorer 4x4 there with 26 inch mudlites and some itp rims a 2 inch lift and a brand new head for 2600$ that im trying to get my dad to look at the price is right and i think the rims will bolt right on the sportsman plus than there will still be a 400 2stroke in the family

Sounds like you timed it just right on the swingarm. Have fun on the rides. Next words from your son will be "mud puddle".
