No special tools are needed. you do not have to remove the primary clutch to do it. you may have to remove the secondary clutch depending on the kit you buy most upgrade both the clutches; but it should slide right off since your quad is not to old it wont be rusted on. if you have any questions I have had mine apart many many times.

You can do the work yourself. It's always a great idea to have a service manual. Tools that you should have on hand for an install of a clutch kit. A in/lb torque wrench, a ft/lb torque wrench, a very very strong set of snap ring pliers and an extra set of hands helps a lot. A clutch kit should come with instructions. Are you mechanically inclined? We can help you quite a bit from here.

You guys rock.It's good to know there are people out there willing to help.I was afraid I would get some know it all responding and craping down my throat.A lot of people would laugh at me for just having a trail blazer.But my father inlaw bought it for me so I can't complain.
