clutch woes. please help
#11
thanks for the responses guys. I figured out what I did, I was holding the clutch surfaces together with a c clamp and rotating the helix 1/3 turn counter clockwise and then pushing it down.
I roated the sheave 1/3 clamped it and installed the helix.
I'm proud to report that after all my posting and problems that I took her out for 2 hours saturday with no real hickups or problems. I still have some maintenance issues but im farly pleased.
I noticed one other thing there is a small chunk missing off one of the fins on the back side of my primary clutch will this cause any problems?

I deliberatly rode for like 200yards at a quarter throttle( so boring) and I had no sign of a plug fouling, Im sure im still off as I have that bog ya'll are talking about but it gives abit of piece of mind.
Knowing what I know now we didn't really have to trade, I can't stress enough if the 7.0 doesn't work for you let me know (It definatly was too lean for me) and I'll send the 6.5 back. I don;t want you stranded with a bike you can;t ride I know how bad that sucks.
