anyone know how to get the front drive shaft out of a 700 sportsman differential?
does it just pop out after a good pull?

It should just pop out with a good sharp pull. I have found that sometimes that doesn't always work. Try rotating the drive shaft slightly, then try again. I have heard that attaching a slide hammer also works well for that sharp jerk, but I haven't tried it.
