While I do agree that the Predator is a VERY fine trail machine, I do believe the DS650 offers a more comfortable ride than any machine. With 12" of suspension front and rear, the wrap around seat, and the very big feeling of the machine, you can ride agressively all day and not feel one bit tired. I did nearly 300 miles of riding in 8 hours on my DS, and could have done another 100 miles if I had the time. The DS can not be beat for wide open spaces, but is not well suited for tight trail riding, IMO.

 

One more thing, I am also a fan of the KFX700. It looks like a very fine machine and the aftermarket is there when more power is craved.

 

A 2005-6 tld would be my choice if they hadn't come up with the outlaw!! That got me thinking where to go next thus my delimma. I do love to ride my buddies 03' pred. and want to make sure I dont overlook other possibilities. I dont really know the ds650 but the front end looks so big is it good in the tight stuff?
