Default Sportsman 90 cutting out

I just bought my son his first 4-wheeler and he loves it. Dad can I ride it? Dad can I ride it and so on. It's really cool and the thing really gets it in the mud. BUT....every time he hits a water puddel (not deep) in just cuts off. It instantly starts up and he rides on. This has been consistant since new. The air box is clean as a wistle and no sign of any water in the snorkel. It's freaking frusturating. Also it's a real pain to start until it gets warm

HELP
Thanks

check all the ignition pars for waterproofing. You can go to a auto parts store they have some waterproffing spray that works pretty good. Check around all the conections from the spark plug on. Sounds like water may be shorting out the ignition systen.
