I ride in the night often, so i bought this kit off of Ebay, like most people have done. So i began reading the instructions out of the package, and this is what happend :
The instructions said to clip the yellow conversion kit wire to the yellow wire in the harness. We did that. The instructions also said to clip the green conversion kit wire to the green wire going to the low beam. There was only one green wire in the wiring harness period. We clipped green to green. No luck.

I could be you have the wrong green wire, or it could be you have a bad diode. Or since it sounds like you’re using “Scotch-Lox” type connectors it could be you aren’t making contact inside one or both of them.

You get what you pay for. The diode is only part of the package that makes the kit work. A big part is clear instructions that are easy to follow and support after the sale.

 

Wiring harness in the headlight pod right? Look for the wires on the left side of headlight pod. Pretty easy to hook up. Make sure the connectors are splicing/connecting to all wires. PM me your e-mail and I will send you a pic & instructions.

i bought my kit off ebay//w reverse over ride lock out also..... easy install and works great for the last 2 years..did nmot hook up the reverse override lost the instructions,, emailed seller year and 1/2 later and he even sent me the instuctions ....... good ebayer-----good kit all though i installed the quadovator reverse lock out after all

 

I bought 2 of these kits a year or so ago...Im not comfy cuttin the wires in the pod....I'll save somebody 6 bucks if you want this kit send me a pm with an address and I'll send you one for free.....

 

This kit sold on ebay works on the 800 EFi, It fits all Polaris sportsman's and takes 5 minutes to install, no cutting of factory wires. Item cost $5.99 And worked great on my atv adn has been on for 3 years. reverse bypasses available also.

The Polaris is set up so when the high beams are activated, the two low beams lights go off. This mod runs juice to the low beam lights when the high beams are selected so that all 3 lights are on at the same time, the way it should have been from the factory!
