anyone ever broke the front drive shaft?

Iv had my 05 700 for about 2 weeks now. i have less than 10 hours on the machine. Tonight i was out riding, i was in AWD, came up to a log, hopped across it and when the front tires came down and grabbed, it snapped the right front drive shaft (or it pulled out from the wheel one, its dark and i havent got to look at it good yet). I had to drive a Loooong way back to the truck without AWD and i had trouble turning to the right b/c the shaft would hit the tire. Anyone ever had this happen??? Good thing i have a 4 year warranty on it. I have attached a pic on my profile for anyone who wants to see it.

I had my front drive shaft yoke snap on me and my buddy had the same thing it"s like the one tire engages and the other doesn't then all hell breaks loose with all the torque going to one side . If your out in the trail just pull the axle clean out of the quad if its slapping around.

They do it constantly. Get a Gorilla axle from Hilifter they are about twice as strong and, you'll have a yr warranty you'll need it if you ride it on anything other than your front yard. We rode the 600 and 700 and liked them but the axles and the cheap plastic rollercages in the front differential made us sell them and get different mud machines. Heavy bike + weak axles + plastic differential pieces = $300 a weekend to ride. Just couldnt afford to ride the 700 Sportsman. Very p'ed off polaris customer in Ks.
