PRELOADING THE HELIX
#1
WHEN YOU PRELOAD THE HELIX ON THE SECONDARY CLUTCH, YOU TURN IT 1/3 TURN COUNTER RIGHT. YOU HAVE TO LINE UP THE SPLINES ON THE SHAFT AND HELIX, SO DO YOU TURN THE PULLY COUNTER CLOCKWISE BEFORE SETTING THE HELIX INTO PLACE? ALSO MY HELIX IS SCORED COULD THAT CAUSE MY BELT TO SLIP?

Yes ans Yes. You can remove the shims that seperate the 2 sheaves to give you some better take off. leave atleast one. They are different sizes. If the sheaves are worm then it can cause the belt to slip alittle. but more so will cause the shifting to change a little.
