So would I be better off using the cylinder from a 96 and above rather than my 94 since it has a boost valve? Very interested

 

Pretty much what happened to the engine was the notorious counterbalancer. I have engine cases for it, it just needs new bearings, counterbalancer, which is the same price for an engine almost.

I put new bearings on my counterbalance shaft for about $15. It will press apart and the bearings are common at any bearing supplier. Be sure to mark the shaft/gear for realignment.

Well i hope this helps it may be out of the way for you but who knows mabey they got one.

 

Yeah I will have to give those numbers a call. I live in Dallas. Houston may be a bit of a drive. I havent figured out how to get the engine fully dissassembled yet. Its back in Oklahoma and I am gonna get the engine next time when I go up there.
