I have a Garmin Etrex Legend. I really liked the fact that it immediately recognized that I was in Iraq. I know some guys with other GPS’s that didn’t adjust as quickly. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that other models have, but it can get me where I want to go and back again.

 

Thanks Deedawg, Others pointed out the same gps. I was unsure of having the buttons on the side. They might be hard to access with gloves on the X-2. I do like the prices for the Etrex line though. Be careful over there and keep your head down!!! jlewis
