Look retard, an .080 bore WILL NOT give you 10HP! A HPD big bore 440 kit wil not even produce that amount of power. Approxiamtely 80% of the HP you pick up by increasing your displacement is on the bottom end. So out of the 10 you think you have you might have 2!

Think about it, $95 for a .080 piston, and $50 for someone to do the bore is $145. That indicates that you are getting 1HP per every $14.50 spent. That is absurd considering with a pipe the return is approximately 1HP per every $25.50 spent (HPD trail). Theoretically a HPD race mod set up costs $17.50 per every 1HP gained (30HP over stock according to HPD).

According to those equasions boring is the cheapest way to increase HP. So why haven't I bored my cylinder to .080 over? Because in reality the cost does not justify the performance gains!

Quite taking your bike to "Pierre's snowblower repair shop" and try calling HPD or RCR and talk to someone who knows about Polaris motors.

Guess what, next time you seize a piston and need to have the cylinder bored, a new piston (86.5mm) will cost you $145! One more after that you'll have to buy a new sleeve for $400, while I'll be on a .020 over and roosting you butt.

Scramblered~
Why don't you just admit you're wrong because the $hit you're talking is getting way too deep! A400L was right about your boring job. And fom reading other posts he has made, he sure the he!! knows what he's talking about! What was the point of your first post? If your engine makes the most power at 6500-6700 rpm's, why the he!! are you revving it out to 7200 rpm's!??!? Hey...I think some guys were talking about you in Rick Ritter's latest post..."crazy problems diagnosed". You seem like just the guy that would ask all those stupid questions! HAHA!! Here's a few tips for you...
1. Make your questions clear when you start a new post.
2. If you're going to be telling some BS, at least make it believable.
3. Most importantly, don't pi$$ on an electric fence!

Scramblered~

Really, you ported your crankcase!?! You'll have to show me how that was done. It must be worth a good extra 10 hp. Are you sure you didn't mean to say 85 hp!?! Oh, I ported the crankshaft on my thundercat...it makes a good 200 hp just from that alone! Your XCR must be making a good 180 hp now, right? *cough* bull$hit *cough*

Hey guys cut him some slack. Yes you can port a crank case it is very easy to do. Just take a 1/2" drill bit and put some holes in it and that way watter wont stay in there and you wont have plant life growing in you cylinder.
