scrambler 400 top end rpm

hot seat told me that the scrambler 400 motor produce the more power at 6500-6700,but i have full race mods like lighten flywheel, roller clutch,14.1. billet heads, aggressive clutch kit, full racing syntech oil,hot rods, these items alone get rpm higher so did you understand what i'm saying???

I'm still confused? How do you port a crankshaft? What does the size of your main jet have to do with anything? Apparently you are using a Mikuni 38TMX, which is NOT part of the HPD full race set up. Depending on WHO did your porting you might be making 70HP at the crank at best. Now how much of that is delivered to the rear wheels is a totally different story, even with your "full racing synthetic oil".
Your motor might rev out to a certain RPM, but your pipe dictates the power band of the machine. Who ever it was that you talked to at Warm Seat might have been referring to a specif pipe compared to stock.
Facts is facts, best case senerio you could squeeze 70-72 cranking HP (possibly more using Methanol)out of the 400 motor at around 7250RPM's.
I know, I do run a HPD race mod motor.
So, NO, I still don't understand?

a shop here in quebec have lightly ported my cranshaft by reducing the rotating mass to get more top end rpm quickly, the main jet size depend on wich carb size you're using,i have a 42mm flatside carb, hot seat performance have race ported my cylinder to get 65hp and i'm not talking about rear wheel hp here also i've bored my engine to .080 wich add approx 10 hp(20cc) so you see what i mean i'm talking here about 75hp.i have a hot seat top end pipe wich add 10 hp.i run on 108 octane race fuel,i've blasted 2 engine yet completly for too high compression.and you known what i've dyno tested my scrambler and i got 75 hp at the crank!full racing scrambler 400 4x4!

Hey scramblered~
I'm sorry, but the BS in your story is getting pretty deep. On paper your pipe can easily make 10 hp, and possible somewhere in the powerband, it might make 10 HP. But on top end, you might have a 5(generous) HP increase from the pipe. If hotseat race ported your cylinder, how are you getting an additional 10 HP in addition to their porting increase? What are you trying to prove by telling us your scrambler makes 75 HP? H*ll, I could say all day that my scrambler runs 85 MPH, but I know I'd get a lot of Sh*t about it and it's hardly possible. Show me the dyno report and I'll believe you. Until then, I won't be the only one thinking your full of sh*t. Come on, just accept the fact that your "only" making between 65-70 HP.
