theres a dealer in my area offering 2001 sportsman 500 HO's for $5995 i thought this was a pretty good deal!!

 

WOW, that is a very good deal. i dont think that is a OTD price though. after the dealer adds his extras it will be closer to $6200 or $6300

I paid $6800 for the Sportman Ho/Rse edition. The Remington Edition added on $500. So if you can get a Sportmans for $5995 thats a great deal. This quad is everything and more. Good Luck

 

I paid $5500 for my red 2000 SP500 in late September in central Michigan. It's a little more if you have to pay sales tax(mine's used on the farm).

 

Why do polaris machines, which are made in the USA. cost more in the US than Canada. I live in Canada and my brother lives in NH.USA.I have always priced them out in NH thinking that they would be cheaper, but since 1994 to today there is still a substantial differance.

2001 HO out the door.(not including taxes, which would not apply to an American anyway) $8200 Canadian = 8200x.64=5248 US. If I would go to the lowest priced dealer in my area it would be 8000x.64=5120 US. The problem with him is that his service is terrible.I would rather spend the extra money and have good service.
