Default Big Tires For Sportsman 800... what kind?

I want to put either 27 or 28' tires on my sportsman 800. I am leaning toward mud lites because of the price and light weight. Any other suggestions on what tire to get? I guess looks isn't everything, but i want it to look tough too!

It kind of depends on what kind of riding your going to be doing.

I have bi and tri claws on my 800. Awesome look, great tire, mean as hell in the mud. They really are awesome tires but that's from my experience. Not to seem negative, but i personally would never put mudlites on mine. Maybe on a 400....but an 800? Have you seen the commercials with Howie Long and the Chevy's. That's what it's like to me. Good luck hunting for tires! Just find one that suits your style and terrain, not just for looks. Later

Personally i say go with highlifter outlaws simply because that is what i run on my 700 (29.5 x 10x12 all the way around) and mine has no problem at all pulling them and the 28s would be even better. They don't ride rough at all, and they are the most aggressive mud tire on the market. If you don't want to go that aggressive i would definately recomend those new swamp lite tires. They have a good looking tread design that is tall to reduce wear and would be great in all types of terrain and best of all they are extremely light weight. But thats just my 2 cents.

Mud lites
I would never buy any other tire for any of my 4 machines. I have them on my 2 ATP 500 and those machines are only used for plowing, and on my Sp 700, ATP330 which are only used for trails and mud. Never had a problem...
