Default Best Polaris Sportsman Skid Plates?

Thanks again for all the info.

Polaris has pure polaris skid plates for the 2004 and prior models and claimes they have them to fit the old 700 and 600s in the generation VI+ or IV+, whichever it is. I looked under my 2002 700 and 06 800 and they loooked relatively the same. The main difference was the rear hitch. The specs in the 05 and 06 book between the 700 and 800 are the same besides weight. I would think the 700s skid plates should fit, but a delarship or a maunufacturer should have the resources to test their producs on next years models and let the consumer know if they will fit properly.

Looking forward to more 800 products.
