I dont know the exact rate on the Aaen blue but it is close to the HPD violet and your white.
When you put a heavier spring in the secondary it will pull your top rpm down due to the tension on the rear clutch. My 330 dropped 100 rpm by changing the secondary spring.I cant find the weight of the stock weights but if I went heavier on them I would defeat the purpose of the 0-160 primary spring. To keep engagement down.

ftwflh, Not saying your wrong or anything, not trying to start anything either just in all of the years I've been around sleds and atv's I've never seen a stiffer secondary spring pull rpm's down. A stiffer spring torsion wise or even on the compression side keeps the machine from upshifting which in turn keeps you in a lower ratio which will turn more rpm. Maybe the blue is stiffer on the torsion side and softer on the comression end or vise versa? I don't know, just never what your describing before.

Understand. Can't answer what rpm's but know it is much higher than stock. I do think it should back shift better.

Is your Aaen install spring-for-spring, or did you reset your secondary to 2-2 as well?
set at 2-2

I would start @ 2-2 siince you went with the bigger tires, the pink primary should be ok too. The best thing to do is just try it one way or the other too see which ones suits you best.

Speedwerx,

Thank you.

I think what you suggest is to try the new secondary spring at 2-2 with the primary Pink, and if it is better go with it, and if not, stay with just the pink primary.

Sometimes thread talk can be hard to understand. Just want verify your suggested answer to my question.

Start with the pink and new secondary in 2-2.
