Default trail blazer reverse broken ? help

What happened was the clip that holds the reverse gear in place came out.Very common on Polaris 2x4s.It isnt a hard fix but requiers about 3-4 hrs labor. If you have a manual and a little bit of skill you can fix it for around 50 cents(new snap ring and washer) But if you take it in to a shop be perpared to pay at least 4hr labor and what ever else they can find to replace.
