Polaris agreement with MacPherson strut expired this year. Not to say it won't be renewed, but does leave the possibility of a suspension change.

Im betting that we don’t see double a arms on the sportsmans. Because Polaris has spent years
saying how the “tight turning struts” were better then a arms. Its not only the sportsman that uses the struts but also the Hawkeye, trailboss, magnum, etc. etc....
I actually like the ride of the struts on the utility quads and hope they keep them..

If in fact they do introduce a machine with the KTM engine, I think that's when we would see a cc increase for the Scrambler. But I also see them dropping the Scrambler name. That would be an ideal competitor for the new Renegade, and a new name would help them in sales. (not for the knowing buyer, but the new guy not familiar with the different brands and history of their models)

Anyone know how the Phoenix sales are doing? I ask because I have considered how I would change the Polaris line up. (not that they'll ever ask)
Phoenix: Keep the supsension, but move it up to a 250 4 stroke. Too many Chinese and other cheap imitators in the 200cc range. Can't compete with their prices. (let's not argue quality)
Trail Blazer: 2 strokes to be phased out. Since this model shares a majority of parts as the Scrambler, make this the new 500cc 2wd model. Possibly share the Sportsman 500EFI power plant. This would be their automatic sport quad.
Scrambler: Bump engine size to 700-800 cc range and rename it.Possibly add EFI too. New big bore 4x4 sport quad.
Predator: Have two models, 450 and 525cc, both powered with KTM power plant.
Outlaw: Also use KTM 525cc power plant.
The ute division would just get a few minor upgrades, for now. More EFI models and a needed body style change.
Just my ramblings. They haven't called and asked my opinion yet, so no promises on any of this coming to life.

i would trade my predator in a second for a scrambler with a renegade stomping 800cc motor, same height tires front and rear, Pro-IRS, Shaft drive, polaris' nifty boot setup on the Outlaw, 4x4, and either a manual or automatic tranny. preferably manual

They'd sell at least two of those.
Doubt any of manufacturers will ever put a manual on their big bores. Excluding Raptor, which I don't include because it's 2wd. Can only imagine how many would flip over due to popping the clutch. (unintentionally)
