What an Ugly ride. Haha im just joking. Nah I personally dont take much interest into the Sport division, so i really dont care what they do to the Scrambler, but i dont think they would have a Pred450 and a pred525, thats too close IMO, even though both of those are awesome engines from KTM. And I think the majority of the changes will be made to the SPortsman line, which is the best seller every year for them....

Don't see them making severe changes to the ute side because, like you said, it's where their sales are.
But they're gonna have to change the sport side to stay competitive. Owner loyalty will help keep some sales, but they'll have to change to get new sales.

I hope they don't reduce the weight on the sportsman. Its a workhorse. Less weight = less pulling. I wouldn't mind seeing a lighter utility for a good woods ride, fast, but have a low range to handle the big tires and some work too. Kinda a cross between scram and a sportsman with the independant. Not trying to sound like a grizz or brute, but something of that nature.

I agree. They need something out there as an option for people who hate the weight in the Ute Section. Like maybe a 700 or something at 650 lbs. That wouldnt be bad at all. I doubt that'll happen, but i say keep the weight on what they have. Subtract maybe 1 model, throw the lightweight in to take its place. Change the Sport section as you all said ((KTM)) and then give the Scrambler a new name and lets see some changes. I think that'll be the best lineup of any ATV manufacture out there..

now this coversation is starting to shape up..
i say dump the scrambler bring out a new sport ute more to the sport side with a nice power house. maybe call it "Trailboss" has a nice ring...along with polaris heritage..
maybe give it a sportsman look but thinner and go with light weight aluminum racks and give it the dual A-arms up front and leave the fat pig with struts that i love alone..

Jay, you got me thinking that maybe they might (again, this is total speculation) just drop the Trail Blazer name all together, and move the Trail Boss up the the 500cc range. The Phoenix (in my plan) would cover the 250 range vacated by the Trail Blazer.
More stuff that makes you go, hmmmmm.

No,, The phoenix has to many issues to try to take over the trailblazer. The trailblazer has a great rep.. I say they will keep the scrammie just as it is. They want ever put no Research and Development into this machine. They will just keep cranking it out the same year after year. And we will all keep assuming that this is to be the year that great long awaited things will happen. But no change will ever come.
