Default Burn up belt

I went to Hatfield McCoy witch is a place with alot of mud and I dropped my Scrambler in a hole and the tires wouldn't turn and I looked at the belt drive outlet tube and it was shooting water out. So we pulled it out and put it in neutral and revved it up to flush out the water and then we went riding some more. At the end of the day I was pulling up to the trailer and it would not move at all. I had it at half-throttle and it was going walking pace. Is this a burn up belt?

That is what it sounds like to me. With any cvt machine, in my opinion, it never hurts to carry a spare........just to be safe....

Thanks for the advice. I am going to take off the clutch cover tonight and see if that is it. How much does a new belt cost and where should I get one?

Sounds more like there was still some water left in there.

Did it make any noise in the cover like the belt was flying apart?

i bet that leftover water polished your belt so shiney you could see yourself in it. with that being said, buy a Dayco high performance belt

oh,i agree here, dirt and water and mud with heat don't do any good the clutch sheaves and
clutch itself.
