Default outlaw problem

While riding my 1 month old outlaw today, I got caught in a rainstorm. After riding for about 15 minutes I noticed what sounds like a ping coming from the engine only under hard throttle. Anyone else experience this potential problem and how'd you remedy?

In avation we call this the "wet air effect" ... it lowers the power out put of the engine.
