SafetySean, It doesn't matter how many trainwrecks ...it's that stuff like this does happen and it will take many.... many , many years if it ever gets back to the pristine state...people do mistreat the water, but it's really not us quad riders...that's my point! WOW!!!!!!!!!!! An amazing video of some great atv riding turns into a John Kerry political add. He complained about SUV's but never mentioned he owned a bunch of suburbans himself. Sean i see you own an atv, but you put down riding. If you are worried aout tearing up ground, then dont take it through your yard. You'll be calling the epa cause it messed it up. There is a place for everything. If that is an atv riding area, then go for it. Respect peoples property always. But playing in a mudhole is alot of fun. If its allowed, go for it. By the way, I love the video. PLEASE, i would love to see more. Do you have any others on putfile?

If you read Sean's posts carefully enough, you will only see that he is suggesting to think of where you're riding. He himself is an avid ATV'er, but is conscious of how and where he rides. He doesn't take it as his god-given-right as an ATV'er to destroy land as he sees fit. Not that this was happening in the video mind-you. He merely stated that posting videos of riding in swamps and creeks probably wasn't all that smart, as it gives anti-atv'ers fuel in the battle to ban us all.

If the place is a popular atv riding spot then have at it ... I know I do ... like you said there's a time and place .. it's amazing how defensive and hostile people get when you ask them to think of the implications of their actions ..

 

I agree with you NLWarrior01. SafetySean had some good points, just came on a little strong to a fun video. There will always be the people that disrespect the land that they ride on or boat on. It burns my butt when people party all day at a beach and leave their trash. But that's a different story.

Thanks Budman, and I'm sure we can all get a little strong in our opinions when speaking on a subject we really believe in.

As for the wall, I'll do my utmost to keep it well stocked .. had to restock my fridge today after a horrific freezer mishap .. 11 bodies found strewn about the wreckage do to one persons short memory ...
