96 Trail blazer opinion

Default 96 Trail blazer opinion

Hey i have the opportunty to by a 1996 trailblazer for a good price. I was just wondering what is your opinion on the machine? Is it good and reliable? Easier to fix? thanks so much

Decent older machine but they arent worth much.I wouldnt go over $600 because it most likely will need at least a topend job,brakes and tie rod ends.

As with anything they need good care, I love those older 250 polarises. If it's a good bargain I'm sure you will enjoy it. Doc

Hey thanks for the replys I was also wondering... these things are 2 stroke correct? So are they loud like 2 stroke dirtbikes? Also do they smoke like some of the old 2 strokes did when you slow down for a while on a trail? Thanks

The stock pipe is quiet. With the injector pump set right and a good oil the smoke is minimal.

Great thanks again. Wats the fuel mix on those 50:1? also would I need to run synthetic oil in it or is it my choice? Also will this this handle well it mabye at the most 2 feet of water/mud besides it getting stuck? Thanks

It's oil injected from the factory, if that works, and either way you can use "polaris blue" I've had good luck with it. 2 feet of mud is taller than your rear tires, wheel speed my friend, it should make it be smart though.
