Default resetting the maintenance schedule/ 04 sportsman 700

Does anyone know how to set the display for the maintenance schedule on a 04 sportsman 700. The wrench icon blinks for about 30 seconds at start up and the dealer says that is a user setting but was too difficult to explain over the phone how to reset. They say follow the steps in the manual that I have misplaced. I am sure it is easy. Please HELP!!

while the bike is turned off and the gear is in neutral, push and hold the rev override. turn key on and once the screen activates release. your now in the diagnostic mode. scan thru by pushing the same number (each time releasing it) to get to the sevice interval. should be o w/ a hr glass if its blinking the wrench icon. once there push and hold the button until the wrench flashes then by pushing the button each time equals 1 hr at a time or hold it in for faster scrolling. the factory service time is 50 hrs. once its set it will start counting down backwards to 0 again. hope this helps.
