How do I install my new power point?
#1
I got a new power point from a Polaris dealer for my 2004 Magnum 330 4x4.
The instructions that came w/the power point are terrible.
Anyway, is there a circuit board of some sort or where do I get power for the power point?
Also, if there is a circuit board, where is it located?
Where is the best place to mount the power point?

best place to mount the power point is where you find it the most convenient place for yourself..........mount it anywhere you wish........modify the mounting brackets to suit you.................mounting brackets that you dont have or come with the kit.............then go to home depot and make your own mounting brackets..............power point would be direct from the battery.............any power point would work frome a vehicle power point to a marine power point or to a special order power point from any atv accesory dealer as for they are all for 12 volt system..................

Thanks for the reply.
I figured I should hook it up strait to the battery but the instructions that came w/the power point (which is actually a Polaris part) said to hook it up to the circuit board that was by the headlight. I can't find any cirtuit board by either of my headlights!

all polaris atv models are different more or less............if you find a system buss...............hook it up from there............a system buss is where available 12 volt power is available.............its a strip of plastic or composite material with copper or metal plates with screws or nuts where you can feed 12 volt power from................the battery will be fine to connect it from............i believe.................others may have comments on this...............but there's pretty much not more to know about the hook up........................
