I don't know if this is true, so don't flame me if i'm wrong, but I have heard a few people say tha the polaris engine is made in japan (Both were polaris owners).

I heard the same thing, the way it goes is that some on the engine components are made by a japanese company called fugi, As for the rest of the machine its pure American built.
