Default buying 06 spt 500

I agree on that. Just over 4gal on the 500efi is probably good for about 100km the way I ride. I've done 80km on a little over 10litres, so that's 8km/l and mapping that forward would yeild about 120km (75miles) per tank.

My warrior on medium trail riding would hit 150 - 160km on it's 9litre tank, easy.

Default buying 06 spt 500

Arctic Cat has the right train of thought,there smaller 400 has a massive 6.5 Gallon!!tank. They must bring there snowmobiling expertise over to there ATVs yet Polaris does not.

Default buying 06 spt 500

I've had my 06 500 efi for 1 yr. tomorrow, have 3300 miles on it and not a singlr problem other than false "HOT" signal which was fixed by dealer immediately. I would go with efi as fuel economy is better and cold weather starts are easy.

efi as fuel economy is better
Not from what we noticed. We fill up both bike head out for a long ride and when we top off to replace what we used during the ride the difference is less than a quart of fuel. Defiantly not enough to nearly make up for the 4.26 L smaller tank he has.
