I keep reading in my manual that there is a grease zerk on the front drive line. I can't find it...don't see it. Is there one there? Front side, backside???

On my 06 700 I found mine by looking through the floor board hole where the auxillary brake is. Put it in nuetral and push it forward until you see it. A flashlight will come in handy to.

 

so that would be the rear of shaft?

 

The rear of the front driveshaft it comes out of the tranny then you see the u-joints then about an inch or 2 in front of them you will see the zerk. you may have to push the atv foraward or backwards. But yes it is on the front driveshaft.
