guys I never thought i'd be saying this but I'm really beginning to question Polaris toughness and reliability. I've never owned anything else and besides a few problems I've been fine. I have two buddies they both own the same bikes as I do 2005 500 HO, they have one problem after the other. On the weekend we were out for a ride and one of them had his throttle break off. We were in the middle of no where, so we took it apart and he was able to use his finger to press on the inner shaft on his handle bar and limp home. Now I have found out he can't buy just the plastic thumb lever he has to buy the whole assembly, that is ridicules. These guys are broke down more then they run. I feel bad because they both bought Polaris because of my bike. One guy never drives his hard or abuses it. The other guy drives his harder but it still isn't abused in my mind.
