2008 Polaris RZR Ride Review and Video
#31
Wow....this is exactly what i have been looking for. Here is my question...... I am 6'1" 285 lbs. Can a porkchop like me fit in this thing without having to butter up the role cage? How does the "interior room" compare to other side by sides? I would be curious to find out what the width of the seat is so i can figure out whether it accomondates my rotund *** and blossoming beer-gut.
Thanks! Great Review and Video.

So long as you are compiling a list of questions...
In regards to the options:
1) Are all of them available post delivery.
2) Cost difference if bought post delivery? For example, the 14 inch wheels/tires might be less expensive if ordered with the machine as opposed to purchasing afterwords.

I would like to know the same thing. It says its $699 to upgrade to the 14" wheels and rims. Is that when ordered from the factory or in edition to? Do you get a "credit" for the stock rims that you dont use?
Was Polaris mad that the "cat was out of the bag" about the RZR before they wanted it out?

Yes, Yes, this is what I want to know too. I am 6' 3" and 3 Hundo and want to know can I fit in it! I fit in a standard Ranger just fine!

One of the editors, who was taller than myself (I'm 5' 11 1/2") , said that he didn't like the hump on the floor. Just to the left of the brake pedal is an area, or small hump, that rises a few inches higher than the rest of the floor. That is where my left foot normally rested. For me, it was fine. It didn't bother me at all. In fact, it wasn't noticeable.
The other editor said it was uncomfortable for him. I suspect all he meant was that he couldn't extend his left leg as far as his right leg. I guess you'll have to sit in one and see what you think. Because unless they put me on rack and stretch me out about 4 inches -- I can't relate!
He is a member of this forum. I'll ask him to post his thoughts on this thread.
As far as width, I'm a big guy and I never felt cramped at all.

Polaris finally did it. Made somthing that actually catches my eye, but I still would'nt buy it. Those side bys are just not my thing. If I were to buy one I would want one with a bigger box on it, even the rhino and prowlers box are to small they would work if I needed it to. I just dont see the point of having a box on something if its so small. I guess I am just use to the big box on our JD gator. Even the box on the regular ranger is a tad small for what we needed on the farm. I can see where it would work for the sportsman type person, but for a real world farm machine I just cant see it, but it is a nice looking toy.

I think that it is pretty obvious that this one is more "toy" oriented than the Ranger, Gator, or the any of the other UTVs. After all, it is only 50" wide.
